Some of you may have seen this picture earlier this week on my other blog Move the Chair, but it is not often that I get a chance to get a decent photo of Anna. She is a very reclusive dog.
Anna’s backstory-she is a rescue who came to me in December-she is an AKC American German Shepherd who had been used by a breeder mainly to well, breed. As a result, she has had little socialization skills and in fact really does not know how to be a dog. She is slowly learning to play from Hubble, while Jack Henry gives her plenty of space to just be. I have said this before, but I firmly believe that we do not always get the dog that we want, but we do get the dog that we need. Lots and lots of lessons here in patience and acceptance.

“Don’t accept your dog’s admiration as conclusive evidence that you are wonderful.”
