Dog Days of Summer

No joke-temperatures in the 90s-extremely high humidity–makes for one hot, sticky walk. However Jack Henry immediately perked up when we turned down our street. One of my neighbors is a serious barbecue master. For those of you who do not live in the South, this may not seem a big deal, but trust me, barbeque is a very weighty business down here. Anyway, my neighbor was roasting some meat and lots of it by the look of the smoker. Jack Henry just could not contain himself. I am sure this is one of the many dog dreams he has. Despite the intense heat coming from the smoker, he was perfectly happy to just sit and sniff.

Today’s Dog Quote:

I’d be happy to have my biography be the stories of my dogs. To me, to live without dogs would mean accepting a form of blindness.
