Little Monster

Another pear picture–this was one I was not going to use, but then I looked at it again and started thinking of Godzilla–do not ask me why; it has been a long week with a lot of deadlines. However, seeing that mouth open and who knows what he was thinking, well, it now seems to be a keeper.

Today’s Dog Quote:

“The sweetness of dogs (fifteen)

What do you say, Percy? I am thinking
of sitting out on the sand to watch
the moon rise. Full tonight.
So we go

and the moon rises, so beautiful it
makes me shudder, makes me think about
time and space, makes me take
measure of myself: one iota
pondering heaven. Thus we sit,

I thinking how grateful I am for the moon’s
perfect beauty and also, oh! How rich
it is to love the world. Percy, meanwhile,
leans against me and gazes up into
my face. As though I were
his perfect moon.”

    • Thanks Uday-Hubble is showing his scary face-practicing for Halloween-and I love that poem too-I have several others of hers, so watch for them. And thank you so much for visiting. We always look forward to hearing from you!

    • Thank you so much for that wonderful comment-I agree-you really do not see too much humor-I know I have to stop myself from taking everything w-a-a-a-y too seriously sometimes. The good thing about photographing dogs is that you need a sense of humor, because you really do not know what you are going to end up with. Thanks so much for visiting SoS!

    • A little of both going on here I think-practicing scary face for the pear and a bit of a yawn because he is now bored with picture taking. One thing about dogs-you always know where you stand with them-thanks for stopping by and looking!
