Today’s Dog Quote:

Near this spot are deposited the remains of one who possessed Beauty without Vanity, Strength without Insolence, Courage without Ferocity, and all the Virtues of Man, without his Vices.  This Praise, which would be unmeaning Flattery if inscribed over human ashes, is but a just tribute to the Memory of Boatswain, a Dog.

~George Gordon, Lord Byron, “Inscription on the Monument of a Newfoundland Dog”

  1. I’m not sure if this was the reaction you were aiming for, but I laughed out loud when I saw this image. 😀 What is it about animal feet/paws that seems so funny when they’re standing next to ours?

  2. Great image. I agree with Joshi Daniel (who is a great, great photographer): “always different and interesting”!

I also love the quote from Lord Byron.

  3. The contradictions implied within your picture are a joy. Two legged dog, four footed man…and a false footed man at that.

I’ve two dogs, and I am not wise. Whose feet are whose?

    Brilliant

    Thank you
