  Well, you know a girl’s got to have her secrets 😉 I have heard of people who ask trainers to train their dogs with commands in a different language so that the dog will respond only to that owner’s commands in that language-which in theory is a nice idea, but in real life, I am not so sure is very practical. I am grateful (unfortunately and somewhat embarrassed to admit) that my dogs not only understand my good English, but my *bad* English (especially Jack Henry who probably thought his full name was JackHenryDammit 😉 when he first came to live with me) )
