      • I think for Hubble that feeling of deprivation is never going to completely go away- every treat must be eaten quickly, every meal might be his last–he has made great strides in the last couple of years, but I think he was on his own for a very long time and did what he needed to survive-so I just watch carefully to make sure he does not pester the other dogs by being too ungentlemanly 😉

      • Our boy Max was loved and treated very well before we adopted him from Springer Spaniel Rescue. He was just a very hungry boy…all the time. 🙂

      • Ah yes, that would be Jack Henry in our house-while neglected when found, I do not think he suffered quite like Hubble did-for Jack, anytime is the perfect time for a meal 😉 and his manners tend to be a little more polite 😉

    • Thank you Lisa! It’s funny-these did turn out better than I thought. Hubble was a bit grumpy that afternoon and so I had to work fast-it may have been when he discovered that there was nothing in the eggs-and believe me he tried 😉 We hope you are doing well-am sure enjoying your street photography-what an eye!

    • Thank you Manny-working with Hubble allows me to play with magic and imagination in a way that I might not do otherwise. Because of his size, it seems possible for him to have friends like the bunny and the bear. Appreciate you coming to visit us-Thank you so much!

  1. Oh what a gorgeous shot! There’s a certain deliciousness about it (and I’m not just talking about the chocolate eggs!) 🙂 It would be perfect for a book. And I absolutely love that quote above. Yes, 10 dogs anytime. Sharon x
