A Quotation Challenge and A Look Back in Black and White

The last month or so has been–quite simply–nuts. So, I really have not been able to do much in the way of working on images for this and the other blog, Move the Chair. But hopefully next week, things will be a bit more quiet and we will see what the crew and I can come up with.

In the meantime, Daal over at Happiness Between Tails invited me to participate in a Quotation Challenge which consists of posting a quote a day for three days or three quotes in one post. We are going for the three and I thought I would post some of my favorite dog quotes as well as some images of Master Hubble over the last couple of years.

Thanks Daal very much for helping spark some ideas for this week’s post-we appreciate it!

Dog Quote #1

When the Man waked up he said, ‘What is Wild Dog doing here?’ And the Woman said, ‘His name is not Wild Dog any more, but the First Friend, because he will be our friend for always and always and always.

Dog Quote #3

Dogs are our link to paradise. They don’t know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring—it was peace.
—Milan Kundera

    • Isn’t that a great quote? Definitely one of my favorites-and all three of these images are very special for me-they really capture the many moods of a little dog that did not have a lot going for him when I found him. The last one particularly is among my favorites as well-it pretty well sums up for me ideas about loyalty and unconditional love-Thanks so much Susan for visiting! 🙂

    • Thank you Michael-I agree about the Kundera, I was surprised too when I read it, but it has become a favorite all-time dog quote. Hubble is all about being in the moment and I really like how the second image captures that for him-always something to see or smell and I suspect he is at his happiest when he can just run and run-Thank you so much for visiting!
