An Overrated Time of Day

In our house there are the early risers–usually led by Hubble and Anna (and a reluctant me).

and then there is Jack Henry-

Even as a young puppersnapper, Jack Henry was not one to always rise with the sun. If anything, he preferred to slumber until I got up. I like to think that he appreciates the value of a good night’s sleep and not to hurry the process. Not much has changed as you can see from these photographs as I try to rouse him up for breakfast. When he hears the bowls clang, though he is on high alert and ready to go.

Today’s Dog Quote:

“I’ve always said money may buy you a fine dog, but only love can make it wag its tail.”

For today: An Overrated Time of Day

Darkness is my friend.

Darkness is my friend.

Go away. Now.
