Sky Fishin’

Lately I have been spending time looking at art created by women illustrators of the early twentieth century-the so-called “Golden Age” of Illustrations for inspiration. Here is another experiment with Hubble making use of celestial resources for an opportunity to go fishing-

Today’s Dog Quote:

“I feel sorry for people who don’t have dogs. I hear they have to pick up  food they drop on the floor.”

    • Well, I must admit that your illustrations in part started the gentle push towards this direction. It is something I have wanted to do for a long time, but honestly was frightened by the idea. But seeing your work has helped tremendously. There is something about animals, nature and imagination that leads you into some very delightful places. We thank you Johanna and our very best to the Princess Charlie! 🙂

    • From Hubble: “Hoo boy, you are so right! I wish my momma would stop pestering me about what I dream about! Now she wants to know if I dream in color? And oh, did I catch any fish. Of course I did–it was MY dream!” Thank you so much Millie and Pearl for visiting and looking!

  1. This combines two things I love, wonderful illustrations and dogs! I was inspired to try working with one of my dog photos and a filter in a recent post, thank you for the inspiration.
