The Star Catcher

Another experiment with Jack Henry. This image is based in part on an ongoing childhood conundrum about the most effective method to catch falling stars. I think I like Jack Henry’s approach better. This way he can take it all in, while the hat does all the work. I would have been running around with a bucket.

Today’s Dog Quote:

β€œSometimes you don’t need words to feel better; you just need the nearness of your dog.”
― Natalie Lloyd

Image a composite using the iPhone 7 (Jack Henry, hat and little gremlin) Snapseed, iColorama, and Pic-Tap-Go. Background comes from Distressed Fx, Stars and the green hills from Origins Digital Curios

  1. Brilliant! These are real works of art. They illustrate perfectly my theory that dogs travel in other dimensions when they’re pretending to be asleep! (Let’s face it, they spend so much time asleep, they must be doing something other than dreaming about chasing rabbits) πŸ˜‰

    • That is a wonderful thought, isn’t it? Hubble and Jack Henry are in complete agreement on this one-their only complaint is my bothering them to ask what they see and do- πŸ™‚ It certainly sounds more exciting than mine-Thanks Annabelle!

  2. I had said this before but PLEASE make a book. Your photographs are so unique!!! I make coffee table books all the time from my family photos. I have an iMac and make books via iPhoto for only about $50 for a 35 page book (estimated) Love your stye πŸ™‚

    • Ah yes . . . the mushrooms. Though I am not sure that Jack Henry needs much help in the imagination department-as it is, he enjoys a wonderfully complex and colorful fantasy life-Thanks so much for visiting! πŸ™‚
