Black Dog Zen

We received exciting news today-“Black Dog Zen” shown here, was chosen to be included as part of a national juried exhibition. The exhibit, “In the Garden,”  will be on display throughout the month of April at a local gallery here in Charlotte. I am particularly excited as the exhibit will feature different media,  and it is gratifying to see that mobile photography is being included more in these types of shows.

And I was just pleased that an image of Anna was chosen.

I like this photograph for a couple of different reasons in that it shows a relaxed dog doing one of the things she loves best: being outside and just taking things in. Although this was a composite, it at least for me, captured those moments of peace that Anna seeks everyday.

Today’s Dog Quote:

“The bond with a dog is as lasting as the ties of this Earth can ever be.”

  1. A belated congratulations, Meg, for being chosen to show in the exhibition. Well done! I look forward going to the gallery! Lovely photo of lovely Anna. Whimsical, but also dreamy.

  2. Lovely! If I lived close to Charlotte I would definitely come see the exhibit. ( I live in Oregon). You must do your photo editing on a regular computer? The effects are so intriguing.

    • Thank you Alanna very much for taking a look-all of the images are taken and edited with an iPhone 7 and an iPad. I do not use a computer except in very rare instances, as many of the apps now can do what I need-it is truly a brave new world. We appreciate your interest!
