  1. Great blog Meg ๐Ÿ™‚ I love dogs too..you have some beautiful pictures of Jack! Love all those quotes, but this one is my favourite: โ€œDogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen.โ€ Look forward to seeing more of your work ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Naveen, thank you so much for your comments. Using the iPhone has really opened up all kinds of possibilities-and seeing what other photographers are doing–like you–with their phone cameras is very inspiring and motivating. I look forward to seeing more of your *captures* of NYC-it is great stuff!

  3. Thank you for your lovely comments Meg, always look forward to reading them ๐Ÿ™‚ You are one of those who really understands what I try to communicate through my photographs! Take Care and say Hi to Jack ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. Dear Meg,
Thank you for introducing me to Jack Henry, Hubble and Anna. They make me smile. A lot. I grew up with dogs (I mean the canine variety) and at one time we had about 10 of them roaming on our property. All I can say is that anyone with dogs is already a friend. Give those three a good tickle and a tummy rub from me. And indeed, may Dog be with you. Hugs, Sharon

  8. So, I’ve been wondering – does it go “the little dogs laughed to see such fun, and the dish ran away with the spoon..?”

    Your dog photography is excellent,

I have granted you the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. I hope you enjoy it. I can totally understand if you do not wish to participate. I think your blog is wonderful and wanted you to know that.

    • Thank you so much for the honor. I decided a while back that I did not want to accept awards, but I certainly appreciate the spirit in which it was given. Thank you.
I especially appreciate your comments as I think your photography is incredible-the way you bring nature to life is a true gift-thank you for that.
And yes, I just added an s to the “dog” but it is from the old nursery rhyme- From all of us at Little Dogs Laughed-Jack Henry, Hubble, Anna and myself- we thank you very much! Cheers-

      • Many thanks for your kind words about my photography, and I totally understand and respect your choice to remain awards-free. Just please keep on doing what you do so well! Best, Babsje

  9. Hi Meg – I wanted to touch base with you as I see we’ve gone back and forth on each other’s blogs, and both love our pets.

I will get right to the point: are you interested in writing something as a Guest Author for my blog about what you do when you travel? Meaning, I’m looking for people who either board their dogs or have someone come in to take care of them – pros/cons, etc…and was wondering if you’d like to participate and/or write your own piece?

If so, please let me know. I’d be honored. I’m in no rush at all. And if you decline I won’t go all freak-out on you! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Take care, Deborah

  10. Just started followed this and your other blog. I’m loving the pictures both here and there. I’m a huge animal lover, and thanks for liking a post on my blog, Growing Up Italian. I’ve got another, The Panda Cam, that you might like. It’s about me and my dog.

    • Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look-yes, having a dog (x3) makes for a very lively and somewhat chaotic lifestyle-cats are much more efficient at running a household ๐Ÿ˜‰ Enjoy your artwork a lot, especially your alphabet series-

      • Thank you, I’m so glad you’re enjoying it. Woo, three dogs would be a lot to handle! I admire people who have that much energy! ๐Ÿ˜€ Cats are definitely good at running their houses, lol. Especially ours. She’s an old girl, but she’s the star of the show, and she knows it. And we love her for it. Isn’t it awesome what pets can bring to our lives? Every house needs a pet, I think.

      • No argument from this household to be sure-I miss having cats, but Jack Henry does not do well with them–he tends to find himself on the receiving end of their claws too often! Very nosy, that one.

  13. There is (nearly) no picture on your blog, that I do not like, it is amazing and for me dogs are special, I have never ever been without a dog in my life, it might be possible to live without a dog, but it is senseless.
    Well done !
