Frame Up!
For the last month or so, Hubble and Jack Henry have been working with a trainer and animal behaviorist to learn better *ahem* dog etiquette. For Hubble (and us) this has been a bit of a challenge as he is hard to settle down sometimes. So to work on the command *stay* and to try something different, I placed him in the window of the old garage in the backyard. He did pretty well, considering. We will keep working on this idea, though.
Today’s Dog Quote:
“A dog reflects the family life. Whoever saw a frisky dog in a gloomy family, or a sad dog in a happy one? Snarling people have snarling dogs, dangerous people have dangerous ones.”
― Arthur Conan Doyle, The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes

For today: I Was Framed!
Well I also broke into ‘How much is that doggy in the window…’ Great fun. And ‘Good Dog’!

Very nice composition. I like how you’ve ‘framed him’ Meg! I am sure the trainer is not having an easy time 🙂

You are right about that Uday-Hubble is definitely making her earn her money! Though he is proving to be a quick learner-when he wants to be that is 😉

Ian Dunbar uses a slightly less unusual variation – working on Stay from a special dog platform. Maybe not less unusual after all.

That might be something to try with Hubble-he does seem to stay in place when up a bit higher (or in this case much higher)-though he is just thinking through his options I suspect 😉 Thanks so much for visiting- I love your blog-pitties rule (sorry Hubble) 😉

That first image is absolutely drop dead gorgeous. I actually said “Aaaaaaah” when I saw it. The second one is nice too but I love the vintage feel of the top one. You’re so talented!

Thank you Lesley-I think I like the top one better too-it as an interesting exercise as I ran it through about five or six different variations before picking the ones I posted-
