Moonlight Wash and Walk
I think this is still a work-in-progress, but I must admit I am at a point where I just need to let it sit for awhile. Hubble says it is a lot of work watching chickens and laundry drying. Time for a treat! I have a couple of other pieces that are also in various stages, so I will probably turn my attention to those for now.
Right now though, everyone has a task: Jack Henry is monitoring the weather, while Hubble and Anna are making sure the dog food bin is full, there are plenty dog chews and blankets in case Irma comes calling.ย
My hope is that she takes a BIG bounce-but our thoughts are with all our friends and the folks in Florida right now.

Thank you Xenia-as the days went on, the projected path kept shifting to the west of us, so by Monday and Tuesday it was rain and some wind. We were very lucky-hugs to all!

Stay safe, Meg. I have a feeling the storm and the dogs will appear in one of your works…sort of like Toto in the twister. ๐

๐ Great idea-Hubble agrees-he can see he and Bear scouting the treetops. Thank you Patti-we managed to escape the very worst–

It worked–she did! Thank you Annabelle, and Misses Pearl and Millie! Your thoughts were quite powerful and we are very appreciative. Much better than listening to Hubble *scold* the storm for bothering him-

So glad you’re safe! And Hubble is a brave boy – if we have a storm here, Pearl hides in her ‘den’ in the corner, and our storms have got nothing on yours! ๐

Master Hubble seems concerned you may lose the laundry if winds pick up. On the other paw, on the classic 7:1 dog timeline, that bad old storm will take forever to get to your neck of the woods.

Ah yes . . that is one of his favorite blankets drying there ๐ I had not thought of it in terms of dog years, but that works for me! Thanks so much for taking a look!!

Very nice–like the brightness and sheen of the laundry. Moonsheen ๐ I love it the way it is now–but will be anxious to see what you do next. Stay safe and well-stocked with treats!
